Christmas Part 1

Christmas Eve afternoon we invited Scott's parents and his sister's family over for ice cream sundaes.

The kids love getting to play with their only cousin, Will (3 years old)

The boys had fun making a ramp for Eric's remote control 4 wheeler.
We also had fun at Granny and Papa's (Scott's parents).

Opening Santa's presents Christmas morning

Scott and I laughed about him putting together a Graco baby doll stroller. It was exactly like the real deal. We thought about posting this picture on facebook and saying, "Christmas surprise!!!"...but we do NOT want to jinx ourselves.

Scott loaded our old ipod shuffles with kid friendly music and gave them to the kids for Christmas. I think it was their favorite gift!

Christmas vacation is here!

The kids got out at 1:00 today so we had time to play in the front yard.
Can you believe he didn't lose his balance and stayed on 2 feet? He has skill!

Eric is 100% boy....and
Ella is 100% girl! This is her 2 seconds after she kicked the ball. lol
Makes me laugh so hard. She has ballet hands and I love her kicked up foot.

Dance and a prayer

Ella had a little program at dance. She takes tap, jazz, ballet, and clogging.

This is her 3rd year to take. She loves it!

Ella is always writing stories, notes, cards, and in her journal. She is very good at expressing herself verbally, but I think she is even better when she writes. I found this note today:

Eric

Eric is really coming out of his shell. His teacher has known Eric since he was 3 and has seen him hide behind my legs plenty. Well, she has happily informed me that he is Mr. Personality. Social butterfly. Charmer. Heart breaker.

Apparently all the little girls have a crush on him. She said at recess he is either the quarterback (how does he know how to BE a quarterback) or running (with a HUGE smile) from the girls because they are trying to kiss him.

I asked him if he had a crush on one of the girls. He said, "One girl? No... All the girls."
Oh dear.

His teacher lovingly calls him "Prince Eric".

joy

The kids loved creating the "joy" canvas.
This time next week is Christmas Eve!
