Yesterday I needed 15 minutes so I let Eric have my camera:

 2 things to note here:

1.) B.E. ((Before Eric)), I never let Ella touch my camera, much less walk around the house taking pictures.

 2.) Notice that I'm smiling and pleased that I'm getting 15 mintues to answer work emails.

Today was one of those days.

We had fits:

Rocky Start

Ella's class is studying landforms and she has a rock collection due this week.
So this past weekend we headed out to Granny and Papa's house to find rocks.
This is what Ella did the first 20 minutes:

Turns out, she was "in a mood" b/c none of the rocks were special. She wanted to find diamonds and other precious gems....HA! I guess you could say our trip to Granny's house had a rocky start!

So while Ella had alone time by a tree, Scott, Eric, and myself worked on HER project. Isn't that what being in gifted and talented classes is all about? ha

Princess Ella finally came around and found 4 rocks that were a "little bit special".
