First Slip-n-Slide of the season

 Last night a Children's Choir from Uganda came and sang at our church.

They were overflowing with joy while they sang and danced. My face hurt from smiling so much!

 

In other news, Eric is finally over a weird 5 day virus....he had low grade fever, a sore throat, and a dry cough, but didn't act like he felt bad.

He missed 3 days of school this week. With his spare time, he wiggled and wiggled a kinda loose tooth and pulled it out yesterday. While I was cleaning up the kitchen last night, Ella helped Eric write his letter to the tooth fairy. I wasn't paying any attention to their conversation. This is what his letter said:

"Please give me two twenty dollar bills"

I think Ella was hoping she would get one of those twenties! lol

Too bad, so sad. The tooth fairy left $1.50. She keeps it real.

 We found a baby bird in our neighbor's yard. It couldn't fly yet so the kids had fun playing with it.

Today we are taking it easy because Eric is running fever, snotty, and has a sore throat.

Car Wash

 Sunday the kids begged Scott to let them wash his truck!

It was their first time and they thought it was a treat.

 

Mariners

This year Eric is #5 on the Seattle Mariners. We played tonight...lost 25 to 26.

Eric had a great time and that's all that matters!
